Join us for the last Family Astronomy Night of the year!
Local members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) will gather at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre and guide our journey through the sky.
On this night we’ll get to see Saturn. The Andromeda Galaxy will be in the southeast. The usual suspects of globular and open star clusters esp. the Pleiades star cluster and the Double Cluster in Perseus, constellations and double stars will be available for observing. and the exciting event of the Comet C/2017 O1 ASAS-SN! It’s never easy to predict exactly how bright a comet will be. But this one has great promise. Check out more info about the comet here: https://
Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to support Allan Brooks Nature Centre.
