Nature Sketch Club @ Allan Brooks Nature Centre | Vernon | British Columbia | Canada

Explore art in nature and how to be a Naturalist! Get out into nature and discover the world around you. Armed with a sketchbook, a pencil, a naturalist and an artist, this 2 hour program takes you out in the field to connect and learn about our region’s ecological diversity – just like Allan Brooks did in the 1800’s!

This session will be taught by our Caetani Centre Artist in Residence Eric Button!

Eric Button is an artist living and working in Vancouver. He holds a BFA with a major in illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Nature and Canadian culture are common themes in his work, which he explores with a sense of humour and a touch of cynicism.

Registration is open to “kids” of all ages (5 years and up) who are interested in creating art in nature! Call Allan Brooks to reserve your spot today!
