Donations appreciated including books, house wares, linens, bedding, sports equipment, toys, puzzles, games, pictures, Christmas & seasonal decorations, CDs, LPs, tape cassettes, canning jars, automotive & garden tools, furniture or anything that is SALEABLE and in good condition and is in reliable working order! Please no dated electronics, computer monitors printers or large appliances

Items can be dropped off at the Centre from mid-April to Friday, May 26th (10am – 4pm daily). If these times are inconvenient, please call the Centre at 250-260-4227 to make alternate arrangements for pick up.

Proceeds go towards the development and promotion of educational and advocacy programs & the purchase of learning resource materials for the Allan Brooks Nature Centre.

Family Astronomy Night @ Allan Brooks Nature Centre

Take in a family adventure with the night sky for an evening of great viewing. Local members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) will gather at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre and guide our journey through the sky.


Admission is by donation with all proceeds helping to support Allan Brooks Nature Centre.

4th Annual First Peoples’ Celebration @ Allan Brooks Nature Centre

Our  First Peoples’ Celebration event is to celebrate our neighbours culture and heritage. Through engaging activities and educational presentations we will introduce the people of the Okanagan to different experiences. Our continuing mission is to be a community leader of education and nature-related activities in the area.

Enjoy ceremonial presentations, hands on art, bannock making and more!
