The Allan Brooks Nature Centre has new Spring, Summer and Fall programs that cover a range of nature-related topics. For details on public programs see our Calendar of Events.
- Educating about the Okanagan’s unique and varied ecosystems and their associated flora & fauna is one of the main goals of the Allan Brooks Nature Centre. A variety of engaging and entertaining educational programs have been planned for schools, special interest groups, and clubs.
- Group programs and tours are available daily during the Nature Centre’s operating season (April 19th through October 31st). All group programs will include a guided tour (maximum of two hours), and admission to the site. Groups must pre-register, and to avoid disappointment please schedule as far in advance as possible. The content and focus of the tour can be adapted to suit your group’s interests and abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for summer day camps, birthday parties, small wedding receptions, seniors day trips, group picnics or socials.
- Close encounters with Raptors in the Okanagan. Visit Allan Brooks Nature Centre this summer during one of our Raptor Weeks and you can experience the thrill of an up-close encounter with some of nature’s most amazing predators firsthand. During our Raptor Weeks Raptor ‘Free-Flight’ Programs and hands-on Raptor Encounter Courses will be offered twice daily. Course space is limited so please book your spot in advance.
